Linda Simpson – President Linda Simpson has extensive experience in product design, development, sourcing and licensing. Her areas of expertise include Home Furnishings, Decorative Accessories, Holiday Trim, Tabletop and Fashion Accessories. She has worldwide exposure to retail and wholesale innovators along with experience sourcing and developing products in 28 countries for the mass and specialty audience.
Linda Simpson’s proven career includes leadership roles at Bloomingdales, Associated Merchandising Association, Syratech Corporation (Wallace International, Towle Silversmiths, Melannco (frames and albums), SILVESTRI, DEMDACO, Enesco/Department 56 where she proactively identified and secured emerging licensed properties and developed innovative multi-million dollar programs.
Since 2009, Linda has been building her own company, Imagination Network to design and develop products, packaging and brands for companies worldwide. She is regarded by those that surround her as a motivational team leader with extensive cross cultural experience. Her intuitive nature, guidance and collaborative creative spirit along with her management style has enabled her to assemble a strong network of artists and colleagues over the years who continue to work with her today. In 2012, Linda worked with CITEM( the trade organization of the Philippines) to re-brand and build a new vision for the FAME fair resulting in tripling foreign attendance within one year’s time. In tandem with this effort, she worked throughout the country with 70 manufacturers to create collections of cross-merchandised eco-inspired furniture. tabletop, fashion accessories and trim to showcase the commercially viable, Philippine products at the fair. Building on her concerns for people and their environments, Linda Simpson likes to focus on emerging markets and creating sustainable and innovative products that benefit both the people who she works with, and the places where they live. Her newest clients include Kathy Ireland’s licensing team and some her brand partners.
Linda Simpson is proudest of her time when she worked with the Care Foundation under the auspices of the United Nations where she believes she “made a difference” creating a multi-million dollar “Made with Care” collection in the Philippines, Africa, India, and Indonesia. linkedin.com/in/lindasimpson
